Keyboard shortcuts can help you be more efficient (and potentially healthier). They allow you to complete certain tasks faster since you don't have to reach for a mouse to maneuver, scroll, and click all the time. They can also help prevent RSI (Repetitive Syndrome Injury); an injury caused by doing repetitive tasks that many people develop in their mouse hand.
STACK has a number of shortcuts to help you boost your productivity and give your mouse a rest.
TIP: You can reference this information in the application, just click the Help ? icon on the top navigation and select Keyboard Shortcuts.

Takeoffs Keyboard Shortcuts
These shortcuts are available in the Takeoffs section while measuring or marking up a plan page.
Measuring
Mac Hotkeys | Purpose | |

T | T | When a measurement is selected press 'T' to continue measuring in that takeoff; continue pressing to toggle between Shape and Rectangle measurement types |
C | C | When a measurement is selected press 'C' to create cut out; continue pressing to toggle between Shape and Rectangle cut out tools |
Shift | Shift | Enable line snapping to 45 and 90 and 180 degree angles |
A | A | Create an arc while measuring |
Backspace | Delete | Remove last point while measuring |
Enter | Enter | Complete current action to last placed point |
Editing

| Shift + C or Shift + X | Shift + C or Shift + X | Enables the Cloud tool |

| Shift + M | Shift + M | Merge multiple touching/overlapping area measurements into one. |

These hotkeys are available when you're on the Plans tab of a project.

Estimate Worksheet Keyboard Shortcuts
These hotkeys are available when you're in a project's Estimate Worksheets.
Mac Hotkeys | Purpose | |

Home | Home | Takes you to the top left cell of the worksheet |
End | End | Takes you to the bottom right cell of the worksheet |
| Shift + arrow (up, down, right, left) | Shift + arrow (up, down, right, left) | While on a cell, click shift and use the arrow keys to select a range of cells |
| Ctrl + C | Cmd + C | Copies selected cell or range of cells. TIP: You can paste in Excel, make changes to the values, then copy and paste back in the Estimate Worksheet. |

| Space | Space | Select/Deselect row |
| Ctrl + Shift + down arrow | Cmd + Shift+ down arrow | Selects entire column |
| Ctrl + Shift + E | Cmd + Shift + E | Expand/Collapse groupings TIP: You can also click Home, arrow up and down to move from one grouping header to another, and then hit enter to expand or collapse each grouping. |
