You can give someone who isn’t on your account access to read-only versions of your plans, takeoffs, and takeoff reports with the Share feature.

This can be useful when you want to:

    • Show others your work – measurements and quantities.
    • Keep all project collaborators informed on takeoff details and plan updates.
    • Avoid emailing new PDF files every time a change is made.
    • Distribute helpful info that can be used at the job site.
    • Provide material details to your suppliers for quotes.

    How it Works
When you share a project, a link specific to that project is generated which you can send to whomever you’d like. Anyone* with the link will be able to view your plans, takeoffs - measurement details, callouts, notes, markups - and takeoff reports in STACK. They will NOT be able to edit anything and CANNOT view any pricing information in the reports.

If you no longer want to share a project, you can stop at any time.

*They will need to sign up for a free STACK account if they don’t already have a STACK account.

TIP: The Invite feature is another way to collaborate with people not on your account. Invite allows you to give anyone access to blank copies of your project plans so they can do a takeoff in STACK. Refer to Invite Others to Perform Takeoffs on Your Plans for more info.
