Connect Your GMS Subsidiary and STACK Account

STACK's integration with GMS allows you to quickly transfer your project item quantities from STACK directly to one of GMS's many subsidiaries to automatically get a quote.
What to Know
- You can connect multiple GMS Subsidiary accounts to your STACK account.
- Only STACK users with a role/permissions to access Account Settings can set up the connection.
- The user setting up the connection must have permissions/access to the GMS Subsidiary account you want to connect.
- This is a one-time setup. Once you have connected your STACK and GMS Subsidiary account, you will not need to repeat this process.
- You can easily disconnect your STACK and GMS Subsidiary account if needed.

Connect a GMS Subsidiary to STACK
- Log in to the STACK account you want to connect to your GMS Subsidiary account.
- Click the Settings icon (person with gear) at the right of the main navigation toolbar.
- Select Account Settings from the dropdown menu.
- Click App Integrations at the left of your screen.
- Locate the tile for the GMS Subsidiary you want to connect and click Connect.
TIP: You can use the Search bar so you don't have to scroll through every integration to find it. - Log in to your GMS Subsidiary account when prompted.
(You will see a notice that STACK is requesting full access to your account.)
Example:
Anyone in your STACK account with the necessary role/permissions can now export project item quantities from STACK directly to your connected GMS subsidiary to automatically get a quote.
Disconnect a GMS Subsidiary from STACK
If you ever need to disconnect your STACK and GMS Subsidiary accounts, you can do so by following the instructions below.
Once you disconnect your accounts, you will no longer be able to export data from STACK to the GMS Subsidiary.
- In STACK, click the Settings icon (person with gear) at the right of the main navigation toolbar.
- Select Account Settings from the dropdown menu.
- Click App Integrations at the left of your screen.
- Locate the tile for your GMS Subsidiary and click Disconnect.
